Smallville Returns, For Real This Time

So last week was supposed to be Smallville's return from Christmas Hiatus, but for some reason or another, they postponed the episode one week. I know that one week really isn’t that big of a deal, but when you have been looking forward to something and counting down the days, it’s a long wait.

BUT the CW did release this yummy picture of Clark Kent (Tom Welling), sporting his Superman Jacket.

I for one can't wait for Friday night! I've missed my dose of CK every week. Tomorrow’s episode Collateral subnopsis is provided by IMDB :

Clark, Oliver, Lois and Dinah are released by the VRA after being captured at Hawkman's funeral but each of them have flashbacks of Chloe holding them against their will. When Chloe returns, Dinah warns the others that Chloe may now be a traitor. Oliver dismisses her concerns but Clark is unsure if he can trust Chloe after she disappeared without an explanation.

After this episode, there will only be 10 more episodes. IMDB release a few of the episodes names. If you don’t want to know this, I recommend that you stop reading. :)

I’m excited to see how this season will end, but it will be sad when the series is over. Here area few titles that I know about. After Collateral there is, Beacon Airs Feb 11th, Masquerade airs Feb 18th, Fortune airs Feb 25th, Scion airs March 4th, Booster (which doesn’t have a scheduled date as of right now).

I’ll share more detailed spoilers of the upcoming episode on my review of Collateral.

Carrie Underwood Hits The Big Screen In Her Upcoming Movie, Soul Surfer

Carrie Underwood makes her big screen appearance in the movie Soul Surfer, where she plays a counselor that helps a teenage girl who loses her arm after a shark attack, who inspires the girl to surf once again. (True Story). Some of Carrie’s co-stars will include: Helen Hunt, Denise Quad, and Craig Nelson.

The movie will be in all theaters April 8th. Everyone should go and check it out!



Derek Hough, Leaves DWTS For A Leading Role

So long Dancing With The Stars. Derek Hough is leaving, well, at least for a season. Derek is following his sister’s footsteps as he joins the film industry in a new movie called, Cobu 3D. I’m sure after Derek saw Julianne kick of her Sunday Shoes, he couldn’t resist the leading role. If you think this is his first time on the big screen you are wrong. Derek was in Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone as a Hogwarts School Boy. Just knowing that makes me want to go back and watch the movie to see if I can find him in the movie. Okay so that wasn’t the biggest part ever, but it’s pretty cool to say you were in that movie. With a few TV Movies to his name, Derek will be taking on his biggest role yet.

Cobu, will be filmed in the spring during the 12th Season of DWTS. Derek told People.com, "People will see a much edgier side of me and these other styles of dance I'm capable of doing."

The movie with a Romeo and Juliet spin to it. The girl his character falls in love with is in a rival dancing group. Will their love survive?

Derek has already been beefing up for his role, by putting on 10 pounds of muscle for the role. The movie will be shot in New York and Toronto.

Derek is planning to come back for season 13 of DWTS, with a new set of skills from his role, and expand as a performer. I guess he already has with putting on the ten pounds of muscle but I don’t think that is what he meant. LOL He’ll definitely be bringing new things to the table in the fall.

If At First You Don't Succeed, Lie, Lie Again-Pretty Little Liars

I call this episode a whole lot of fluff, (aka Filler Episode). I was kind of disappointed with the new episode of Pretty Little Liars. There was no real information given to you except Ian did drugs all summer with Alison’s brother.


Other than that, A is just trying to blackmail people, and fortunately it didn’t work when Hanna gave Aria’s mom the ticket to the art gallery.

But thanks to the new kid with long hair at their school because A told her if she wanted all the money back Aria’s mom needed to see what her daughter was really up to. (The same gallery that Aria and Ezra went to on their first real date, out in the city).


Emily got in a fight with Spencer because Spencer told the coach that she was being harassed by a player on the swimming team.


Spencer tells the girls that it was her shadow in the picture, the night Allison disappears.

I’m kind of bored with these episodes, and I’m starting to lose a little interest in the series. They are dragging it out way too much and they haven’t really given you any information.

Oh and A was at the bead shop where the old lady works.

Charlie Sheen Checks Into Rehab

Charlie Sheen has been in the media a lot lately for being with hookers in Vegas, and for his drug addiction. Over the weekend he was checked into the hospital for stomach pain. Charlie Sheen obviously needs some help. He finally checked himself in to rehab…well sort of. Charlie checked himself into his own home for three months. There he will have a rehab specialist to help him.

Obviously this isn’t a good idea. For one, he probably has cocaine hidden throughout the house. I think if you really wanted to get help for a drug addiction, you have to take yourself out of the situation of temptation.

Charlie Sheen makes 2 million an episode for Two and a Half Men, which is on a temporary hiatus while Charlie hopefully gets the help he needs.

Katy Perry: How I Met Your Mother

Katy Perry will be appearing on an upcoming episode of How I Met Your Mother. Perry plays a character named ‘Honey’ who gets Neil Patrick Harris’s character to open up about his womanizing ways, and gets a little emotional.


Katy’s episode on How I Met Your Mother airs February 7th on CBS.

Midway to Heaven

Over the weekend I was invited to attend an exclusive preview of the movie, by a good friend of mine, and a reader of this blog. (Brett) Going into the movie, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I had never even seen a trailor for this movie.

The movie is based of the book written by Dean Hughes. The movie stars Curt Doussett, Kirby Heyborne, Michelle Money and Melanie Nelson. The story follows Ned (Curt Doussett) who is having a hard time letting go of his memories of his wife Kate (Nelson) who died from cancer. Throughout the movie you see him talking to her about some of his struggles, and dealing with his daughter who brings home “Mr. Perfect,” (Heyborne) which he deems there is something not right with him, and decides to find any dirt on him that he can; so he can tell his daughter who he really is. (which almost ruins their relationship.) Can Ned let go of his perfect marriage with Kate or can he find love again?

Michelle Money, plays Ned’s love interest who is a bit forward on what she wants. For those who have concerns about her or are worried about her acting, there really isn’t anything to worry about. Her acting isn’t too bad and she really isn’t in the movie all that much.

The movie is emotional, and heartfelt. There are a few cheesy lines, but it always makes for a good laugh.

The funniest line from the movie:

“Ned, are you going to kiss me tonight?” Michelle Money’s Character.

“I can’t. Its the Sabbath.”

Midway to Heaven is in theaters February 4th.

Today Justin Timberlake turns the BIG 30. Here are some fun pics to look back on Justin's amazing career.

Justin on Star Search. I'm glad when Justin Brought Sexy Back, that, that shirt didn't come with it.

Justin's Big Break on the Mickey Mouse Club. On his left is Britney Spears, who would soon be his girl friend and open for him on tour.

NSYNC was started when Justin was just 14 yrs old. The group did okay. On there second album No Strings Attached they sold 1 Million copies in just one day. That was before iTunes. In one week they sold 2.42 Million copies. The band had hits like  I want you Back, Its Gonna Be Me, Bye Bye Bye, Tearin Up Me Heart, No Strings Attached, Pop...just to name a few.

Justin dated his MMC co-star Britney Spears officially for four years. (1998-2002) She also opened for the band while NSYNC was on tour. (Side note: I also found out that K Fed was also a background dancer for NSYNC as well as for Britney).

Justin told Rolling Stone magazine in an interview he said this about Britney. "I may not ever get over her. I really do still love that girl."

In 2003-2007 Justin dated Cameron Diaz

In 2004, Justin created a huge buzz on the Super bowl Half Time where Justin Ripped off Janet Jacksons wardrobe and her boobie flew out. Since then, the Super Bowl Half Time show has been pretty lame. No pop stars are allowed and now have the old band like the Who’s performing.

Justin is currently dating Jessica Biel (2007-Present). I noticed that he usually tends to have relationships that last four years, before JT moves on. Could he and Jessica be on the downward spiral to their relationship, or will this one last?

Justin has proven over and over his talent for music. Singing hot songs like Sexy Back, or Cry Me A River. Not only can he sing, but he is currently pursuing his acting career with two movies in post production Bad Teacher and Friends with Benefits, and one he is currently filming, Now.

Justin has accomplished a lot in his 30 years, and he's not done yet.
