David Archuleta's Recording Label Give's Him The Boot

TMZ reported that David Archuleta's label let him go after his second album sold only 63,000 copies. Sounds like a lot, right? I guess if you compare it to his first album that sold over 1 million copies, this one didn't do so well.

I'm sure this wont be the last we see of Archie. What do you think? Is this a good or bad move by JIVE Records?

Personally, I don't like him much as a pop/contemporary singer. I think it would serve him well to pick another genre/fan base, or just be like a Kenneth Cope and do LDS music. LOL

Anna, I agree. I think David has the voice for Josh Grobanish type songs. After seeing him with the MOTAB last Christmas, I think that would be a good way to go, and you feel like its more his type of style anyways. Even while he was on AI he liked to pick inspiring songs.
