Pretty Little Liars: Je Suis Une Amie Review

Pretty Little Liars was a bit better than last night, than the week before. Although I didn’t see why they put in some of the things they did in the episode. For example: Emily and the girl on her team fighting over who gets to be ancur in the relay, and all of the sudden they are the best of friends. Maybe they don’t have anything else to do with her story now that Maya is gone.

Also, you’d think that Emily would have liked Spencer for being understanding about Toby and being on his side. It was like she has feelings for him still and doesn’t want Spencer to come into the picture.

Then there is Ian…ENOUGH ALREADY! We already know he isn’t the most responsible person, and has an iffy background—who isn’t the killer. I’d just like them to stop slapping us in the face with a stinky, slimy fish with Ian’s name all over it.

Aria’s story is starting to be a little boring to me. I do like, however her parents getting back together. I don’t think that she will stay mad at Hanna for very long since the only way to solve Allison’s case is to stick together. The one part I did enjoy was Aria and Hanna following Aria’s dad and finding out her parents were together, and then Hanna finding a leather jacket and cell phones in the vents at school. Which at first was a fun idea that they could have found a stash of A, which ended up being Hanna’s friend Caleb. I do think however some of those cell phones could have been used by A that they didn’t touch.

The real meat of the story lasted like five minutes when Spencer and Toby are talking on his porch, when she agrees to help him with his French. They try to figure out how and who could have planned Toby’s sweater back in his room after he gave it to Allison. Then Jenna slammed the window and Toby had to leave. I was kind of disappointed in that we didn’t get any more information.

The next day when Spencer comes to his house he says the tutering wont work, and Spencer is a little upset. She later finds a note in the book Toby gave back to her.

IMDB shows that there are only six more episodes left till the finale. So answers are starting to come, but may be dragged out.

I still say its Mona or Jenna. Both are super MIA in the episodes. Ian may know where she went after they met at the kissing rock. I think in this show, everyone has pieces and once its all put together we’ll find who are killer is.

I know I've complained a lot about that last couple of episodes, but I think the real problem is they didn't know if the show would even make it, so they fed us like crazy in 8 juicy episodes. When they got signed on for a full season they had to drag out the story line. I just need a little more meat to the story and no more of this fluff crap. ie Emily swimming; out of no where becomes friends with her teammate; when there was so much HOT blood between them.

Side note: Has anyone ever noticed how when Emily is supposed to look focused or is just standing there she is always making some model face? What is up with that? (This bugs me)
